Discussions around needs for development COADs/LTRGs throughout the State.

  • Meeting Purpose: Provide updates on COAD development and LTRG activities. Share needs, information, and resources such as templates, tools, guidance, training, and funding opportunities.
  • Intended Participants: Leaders and Coordinators of LTRGs and COADs statewide. Agencies or organizations looking for networking opportunities to build their community’s capacity to respond and recover from emergencies and disasters.

CANCELLED DUE TO HURRICANES
Our annual Fall Members Meeting will be hosted by Catholic Charities USA in Alexandria, VirginiaOur meeting venue address is Catholic Charities – O’Grady Conference Center, 2050 Ballenger Avenue, Alexandria 22314. The closest airport is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).  Attendees are encouraged to book their accommodations at their preferred hotel. We will not have a room block at a specific hotel.
Please plan to arrive to join us for an evening Member/Partner Reception on Monday, October 21st! 
Our meeting dates are Tuesday, October 22nd for a full day & Wednesday, October 23rd for a half day. Please schedule departures after 1PM EST once the meeting concludes, if possible.
 
This meeting is intended for National VOAD Member (National, Associate, and State/Territory) & Partner representatives. We welcome up to two representatives per member/partner agency to attend.
